Presencia/Occurence: Registro por error/Recorded in error.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Reportada para el suroeste de Puerto Rico por Liogier & Martorell (1982) y Liogier (1995 [IV:114-115]), pero removida en Liogier & Martorell (2000). En tanto que USDA PLANTS (2016) y Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong (2012, 2016) la trataron como un nombre mal aplicado a Bonellia pauciflora en Puerto Rico, parece que esta cita es debida a un error geográfico en un espécimen después corregido (ver Axelrod 2011).

Reported for southwestern Puerto Rico by Liogier & Martorell (1982) and Liogier (1995 [IV:114-115]), but removed in Liogier & Martorell (2000). While USDA PLANTS (2016) and Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong (2012, 2016) treat this a misapplied to Bonellia pauciflora in Puerto Rico, it appears that this citation is due to a geographic error on a specimen later corrected (see Axelrod 2011).
