Origen/Origin: Nativo/Native.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Una hierba rara en elevaciones bajas. Reportada para las arenas húmedas cerca de Dorado y en Guanajibo, Mayagüez (Liogier & Martorell 2000, Axelrod 2011); recolectada en Guanajibo en 1929 por N.L. Britton y E.G. Britton (9396 NY). Citada por Axelrod (2011) como un taxón no recolectado recientemente. No hay registros de esta en MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, com. email 2016).

A rare herb at low elevations. Reported for wet sands near Dorado and at Guanajibo, Mayagüez (Liogier & Martorell 2000, Axelrod 2011); collected at Guanajibo in 1929 by N.L. Britton and E.G. Britton (9396 NY). Cited as a taxon not recently collected by Axelrod (2011). There are no records of this at MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, email comm. 2016).
