Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Locally frequent; scattered in mountain forests from lower to high elevations (250-1300 m). An epiphyte on mossy trunks and branches of trees; occasionally on stumps or mossy ledges. References: Proctor 1989, Liogier & Martorell 2000, Axelrod 2011.
