Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Una hierba acuática, rara, recolectada por P.E.E. Sintenis (5779 U) en Añasco y en 1932 en Vega Alta (Britton & Britton 9941 NY). Citada por Axelrod (2011) como un taxón no recolectado recientemente. No hay registros de esta en MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, com. email 2016). / A rare aquatic herb collected by P.E.E. Sintenis (5779 U) in Añasco and in 1932 in Vega Alta (Britton & Britton 9941 NY). Listed as a taxon not recently collected in Axelrod (2011). There are no records of this at MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, email comm. 2016).
