Origen/Origin: Nativo/Native.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: Una hierba rara reportada como “anteriormente encontrada en un pastizal cerca del camino de Cabo Rojo a Mayagüez” (Britton & Wilson 1926 (VI(1), p. 157). Aparentemente recolectada solo una vez más por H.A. Liogier (10016 MAPR) en 1963 en Adjuntas en el Bosque Estatal de Guilarte a 1000 m (Axelrod 2011). No hay registros de esta en MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, com. email 2016).

A rare herb reported as “formerly found in a pasture near the road from Cabo Rojo to Mayagüez” (Britton & Wilson 1926 (VI(1), p. 157). Apparently collected only one other time by H.A. Liogier (10016 MAPR) in 1963 in Adjuntas in the Guilarte State Forest at 1000 m (Axelrod 2011). There are no records of this at MAPR (Jeanine Vélez, email comm. 2016).
