South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as critically imperiled in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 187-188) based on one occurrence at Pelican Marsh in Collier County. This species is now known from eight protected areas and was reranked as imperiled using updated NatureServe criteria in 2025.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Not Cultivated
