South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as possibly extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 128-129) based on several collections between 1877 and 1977 in Miami-Dade and Lee Counties. Rediscovered at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary between 2015 and 2017 in Collier County (Wilder and McCollom 2018).

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Not Cultivated
