South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as presumed extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002, pp 93-94) based on several collections from the mid-1980s to 1913 on both sides of the Miami River, and an undated possibly introduced population from a roadside in Glades County. No new records are known.
