South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as critically imperiled in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 305-307) based on one occurrence in Biscayne National Park, Miami-Dade County. A reintroduction program at Long Key State Park is in process. This is widely cultivated in South Florida, from both native and introduced germplasm.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Cultivated
