Description:
A medium-sized, slender bird measuring up to 11 inches in length. Gray in color with a long tail, and two white wings bars.
Range:
Resident in North America, Central America, and the West Indies.
Habitat(s):
Open areas, areas with shrubby vegetation, parks, and residential areas.
Reproduction:
2 to 6 pale blue-green eggs with red blotches are laid in a cup of twigs placed in a low bush or tree. This species rarely reuses a nest.
Food:
This species feeds on fruits and insects.
Comments:
Can be found year round throughout Florida.
