Description: Small herbaceous wildflower.
Dimensions: About 6-12 inches in height. Spreading and forming small, open patches about as broad as tall.
Growth Rate: Moderate to slow.
Range:
Eastern and central United States west to Texas and south to the Florida peninsula, where mostly found along the west coast south to the Monroe County Keys. In the Monroe County Keys, disjunct from Miami-Dade County to the pine rocklands of Big Pine Key, where last collected in 1952.
