Vascular Plants of State Parks in the Florida Keys

Field Photos
IRC Staff (past & present) Conducting the FISF

This Online Database provides a subset of the data provided through The Floristic Inventory of the Florida Keys (FIFK), which was initiated in 1995 as part of the Floristic Inventory of South Florida.

A review of the methods and the preliminary results of the FISF were published in the Executive Summary and Chapter 1 of IRC's book Rare Plants of South Florida; Their History, Conservation, and Restoration (Gann, Bradley & Woodmansee, 2002).

Although not considered a conservation area, Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park has been added to this data set to give a complete view of the vascular flora of state parks in the Florida Keys.
