Florida Keys History and Distribution: Reported in 1931 by John Kunkel Small for hammocks in the Florida Keys, without specific locality. Reported in 1977 for several site on North Key Largo in the upper Keys by Karen Achor (Weiner, 1980). We consider this native and extant only in the upper Keys (Key Largo).
